A la mort de Rafael Masó, va continuar l'obra amb estil i fidelitat al seu creador, l'arquitecte Francesc Folguera i Grassi (Barcelona, 1891 - 1960). De l'arquitecte Folguera destaca la construcció de l'església de la Mare de Déu de l'Esperança i del camí de ronda que va des de S'Agaró fins a la cala de La Conca.
